The Face Behind The Camera

Hiiii. I'm Sarah — a 32-year-old mama, music snob, Ferris State alum, writer, and the main photographer behind SP Photo Co. I grew up in the tiny town of Comins, Michigan, and in 2019 I rooted my own family here in Lewiston.

I’m married to my soldier, Staff Sergeant Robert Peters, and together we’re raising four amazing little humans — Kora, Eira, and twins Oliver & Ivy. The house is also ran by two wild huskies (Koda and Juniper) and one very opinionated cat. They’re the reason I understand chaos, patience, and the magic inside the in-between moments.

I’ve always been in love with art — especially photography, music, and writing. I started dabbling with cameras over a decade ago, but things clicked (pun intended) in 2015 when I bought my first DSLR. It took years of encouragement from others before I finally stopped treating photography like “just a hobby” and stepped fully into it as my career. In a saturated industry, that leap isn’t small — but I’m so grateful I took it.

Today, I focus on capturing real, honest moments for families, couples, and everyday people who want photographs that feel like them.
